UI design and Art Direction for an interactive city.
We were tasked with making an interactive experience for young people attending the annual Make The Future event. The city is interactive and each action is triggered by a Leap Motion scanner. The concept it to show the user how different factors like time of day and weather can effect energy supply to the grid and how in the future electric vehicles will feed back power, adding support and supply during high demand.
The users are asked to blow into the windmill to make it windy, wiggle their fingers to make it rain and make a circle to change the city from day to night.
I designed the UI using Sketch, working alongside the 3D designer and developer to design the overall look and feel of the city and experience.
